Connection query USBD_VCOM

Good day, all

I am using USBD_VCOM to connect my xmc4500 relax kit lite to the pc and send data. I was wondernig how I could check if the device is connected or not. I have found a couple of 'state' variables but I don't know if which one holds connectivity state and how to access it.
Can someone help me?
