XMC 4800 send / receive RAW ethernet frames

Hi all, I'm trying to send out raw ethernet frames from the xmc4800 to another device (while sniffing packets with wireshark) with poor results...
The packet should be structured like:


[6 (receiver mac) ] + [6 (sender mac) ] + [2 (protocol, specific to the device i'm connecting) ] + [....... (data bites) ]

Do you know how to configure the ksz8081 & the xmc4800 (from relax kit) correctly to do this operation?
