Sd card write example?

I have tried sd card write examples using dave3. There are always problems. Sometimes the RTC can not be initiated, sometimes the files can not be written to. sometimes the file system has error, when checked afterwards on pc.

Which sd card examples works with sdhc 4GB with function to create, read and write function? Is it because of defference between difference sd cards ? which card should I actually use?
