UART in loop-back mode?

Perhaps the attached example code may help. There's are more examples http://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineo...4ed94b13903518. This link will download a few examples, among which iss the attached loopback example.

Also, this is the application note that has some comments to go along with it on how to configure different behavior: http://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineo...4ed93960ae3391. Note that USIC encompasses many communication peripherals, including UART (called ASC in the manual).
