newbie need guide - help - read flash xc2287-96F with dap miniwiggler

hello

im after some information or guidance to read flash from xc2287-96F

i have dap miniwiggler
installed DAS up and running UDAS connected

i know how to connect jtag connection etc

but do i need DAVE to debug?

am i right in thinging memtool can ONLY write not read?

like i said im a complete newbie on this jtag...

a procedure to follow would help?
