UART1 "TxD disconnected from integrated LIN-Trx" option disables P0.1 Output

Hi,

It is not possible to send with P0.1 if you disconnect the LIN-TX from the UART1 TXD.

It is recommended to leave it connected and disable the LIN instead.
You can also set it to recieve only mode or sleep mode.

But I can not find it.

I used it as APP in DAVE3.

I want to know how to use the POSIF function in DAVE4.

I want to measure the encoder using the POSIF function.

Aurix 275 C-STEP Move code from RAM to FLASH

The _c_init function which is called by the C startup code takes care of initializing the functions. Because the 'copy' keyword is used in the group definition for the group to which the code sections which need to be initialized are assigned:

group(run_addr= mem:mpe:dspr0, copy)
{
select ".text.project.function_executed_from_dspr0";
}

the linker is instructed to add the required copy information (start address in flash, target address in RAM and number of bytes to copy) to the copy table and this copy table is processed by the _c_init function. As a result the function is initialized before the 'main' function is called by the startup code.

LWip stack porting issues!

Hi all,

we are using downloaded software package for TC297 start kit V1.0:

The software which is released by Infineon: “Application_Kit_TC297x Firmware package.exe”

We have successfully make it work on TASKING compiler eclipse, see the picture below,

but our doubt is does this example working at polling mode to wait for TCP connection to be build, It means one of the Trico will be totally occupied by Lwip Http server?

We both know most safe way to implement LwIP should be with RTOS with a Task or Threads such as below with FreeRTOS:
sys_thread_new("main_thrd", (void(*)(void*))main_thread, 0, THREAD_STACKSIZE, DEFAULT_THREAD_PRIO);
vTaskStartScheduler();
while(1);

Then this Task or Thread won’t occupied whole Core1/2/3, Or we should build our own small scheduler to call “tcp_fasttmr” or Could you recommended us a RTOS to do that?

Please confirm this with us. We can not afford to lost one core and Lwip webserver is not a very key task.

There is TOUTSELn to select "Output Timer Mapped(Table 25-68 GTM to Port Mapping)".
Where are Registers to select "Input Timer Mapped(Table 25-68 GTM to Port Mapping)".

interruption behavior

Hi,
I have following question:

what happens when the same interrupt occur twice ?

I use timer interruption that is handled once per 1ms ( timer interrupt). Interruption handler execute some code.
There is possibility, that some parts of code, inside interruption, could execute more than 1ms. What happens if code inside interruption will execute more than 1ms
and next timer interruption,with the same priority, occur ?


used timer module TOM,GTM
developing platform Aurix TC22L , (lockstep not used)

Some thoughts on this to validate:
- Is the data as expected in teh memory referenced by pData?
- Are the entries stored in the 0x7nnn structures stored without any implicit memory paddings? A straight forward check on this could be to set all entry variables to 1 and check the structure memory
- The mapping won't work for your 8entry objects because pData is shifted by 16Bit so you would get invalid data/or accessing invalid memeory ranges. One solution could be to handle pData as an 8Bit pointer.

Low Speed Motor by XMC1302

Dear,

our custom motor with XMC1302 has acoustic noise during 3900rpm.
There is no noise at 767rpm.

I attached U and V phase current wave.
These current at 390rpm are very dirty, far from sine wave.
Would you give me advice to improve the current ?

Hi,
you are right. In case your VCP is low (0.5V), the bridge will not work. Please check if your init() is set correctly. Maybe you can switch on the VCP only (without brigde) in order to make debugging easier.

About the 24 GHz Automotive Radar Kit

Hi all,
I am a student currently writing my paper using the 24 GHz Automotive Radar Kit.
I have a few questions regarding this kit, any inputs regarding these topics are welcome.

at the moment I have successfully retrieved the raw adc samples from the udp packets,
and they looked fine. however the firmware "RFbeam 24GHz V2" does not send all adc samples
by default, a few lines need to changed , not sure if it is a bug or intended.

current setting
sample rate : 366.3khz,
measurement frame rate: 16fps, 128 chirps x 128 samples per frame.

my questions:
(I need the adc samples)

1, why 366.3k is chosen as the sample rate?
2, Is it possible to increase the sample rate and sample number (256 chirps x 256 samples) ?
3, if the sample rate is increased, can the ethernet module handle the 4x data rate without data compressing?
the current udp packet rate is about 1.1MB/S (10Mbit), the ethernet module supports 100Mbit rate,
but I've done a few tests it tops at 2MB/S (maybe I did someting wrong?)

Hi Ambitious,
in debug mode, the WDT is default suspended and stops counting. Are you aware of this fact?
For me it looks like there is a miss-configuration. I will try to write a small example.

Starting Dave is very slow

mine was slowing down this week switching workspaces, but I think it had to do with free disk space and that I hadn't closed DAVE all week - but slow was just 30-40 seconds. After restart and freeing some disk space, it's back to normal speed.

Hello, I want mosfets N with

RDS (on) @10V max 8 mohm
VBRDSS >= 30
VGS(th) max 2.2 V
ID @ TC=25°C min 59 A
QG typ @10V < 12 nC

I go to

I can not believe that there are only 2 mosfet with this filter but
some mosfets not have parameters in the table or the filter not working fine or

How I can find more power mosfets inside infineon with this parameters ?

ASCLIN interruption inside timer interruption problem

Hi,

I,m currently developing project on tc22x. I'm using following modules that uses interruptions :
- gtm_tom timer
- asclin1_spi
Only hardware interrupts are used.

spi has 3 interrupts: tx, rx, error, with priorities 1, 2, 3
timer has one interrupt with priority 10

Spi, placed in main() loop ,works good.
When i place it in the timmer interrupt it stop working,

the
transfer_in_progres
bit is constantly set to true
and spi do not send/receive anything

I'm enabling interrupts every time the timer interruption execute.

I also use multican module that does not use any interrupts and it works fine in timer interrupt, so I think it's the interruption configuration problem.


why such situation happens despite higher Spi interrupts priorities ?
