Hi Kyalpani,

Your request was not clear from the description ? From the project dave app configuration, the DIGITAL_IO pin setting is as follows. Are you interested in this ?

Attachment 5653

This is used to control the on board LED. If not, let me know what you are trying to do.

I was wondering, is there a possibility to avoid parasitic turn-on without a negative voltage supply?

I am an user of Aurix Development Studio and have a question on same thread.

Is there any variation between Tasking Compiler used in Aurix Development Studio (ADS) and Actual Tasking Compiler?
Means Taking compiler with ADS has full capability or some features are disabled.

Hi Ernie,

Could you please let us know why do you have multiple chip selects? Additionally could you let us know the external ADC you are using?

Please find the application note for USIC for reference.

XMC1400 "F" footprint

Kindly refer to Section 3.2.3 "PCB layouts for XMC1400-VQFN64/LQFP64" in "AP32316 XMC1000 PCB Guide v2" on page #15. In Figure 10. it is specifically mentioned that the LQFP64 does not have exposed GND pad. This is further
reinforced on the next page with the following observation:
"For LQFP64 package, there is no exposed GND pad. However, if a ground plane is provided underneath the LQFP64 package for the VSSP pins, it would help to reduce noise from external crystal and RTC."
Hence, it is valid that the physical parts you have do not have exposed GND pads.

I will search if there is more information regarding layout and decoupling. If you have any further questions, do kindly let us know.

Thanks, and regards,

Hi there,

We use the TLE75008 in our production,We need use open load detection, and have some question about it.
According datasheet,we need to enable IOL,and in off stage,we can read the status from reg.
But it seems we need drive at least one channel ON if we want to do open load detection,is that right?

BSL Programming Failure with MemTool

Hi Mike,

It might be best to start a new forum thread if your issue is new. This will give your question more attention and make the threads issue specific.

Now regarding your question, The read protection will also enable a global write protection and the debugger will not have access anymore.
See Flash Protection in reference manual.

"For an effective IP protection the Flash read protection must be activated. This ensures
system wide that the Flash cannot be read from external or changed without
authorization."

You need to foresee this and implement a backdoor if you wish to disable the protection using another communication interface.

Now to connect to your device you can use ASC BOOT Loader. The shortest way is to use any kind of COM Port (usually USB-UART device) to lines P1.4 P1.5 and connect to it by Infineon Memory Tool.
Note that lines TMS and TCK must be grounded at reset, which forces ASC BOOT mode in the device. At least you can disable FLASH protection and unbrick you device for further development.

XMC4500 Relax Kit CAN Transmission

Good day to all,

I'm currently working on a project using an XMC4500 Relax Kit with DAVE4, a CAN transceiver(Rx pin 1.5 and Tx pin 1.4) and a CAN Interface VN1610 from Vector connected to the PC (software "CANalyzer" from Vektor).
For now I have a working program that gets the values of Tension, current, temperature, time, etc... visualizes them on a web server like in the picture "HTTP_WEBSERVER" and refreshes the values each 2 seconds.
Now I want to visualize these values on the software "CANalyzer", so send them through the CAN interface instead of the HTTP server.
I searched a lot online for examples of CAN transmission but none of them would give me any signal of connection on the Software.
Can anyone help?
There are also links to download the project and the pictures. Attachment 5657

Drop-in alternative to TC4428A?

$

Hi,
Can you please advise if there is a drop-in alternative from Infineon to Microchip TC4428A?
IRS4428S is not suitable:
The propagation delay is 50ns typ and 95ns max (compared with 30ns typ and 35ns max).
Customer is using 1 driver per power MOSFET in a full bridge application and the deadtime between high-side and low-side power MOSFET can be as low as 30ns. This implies propagation delay variation between two drivers could result in longer than expected dead time (reduced efficiency) or in the other direction shoot through (both high-side and low-side MOSFETs on at the same time). Said another way they are not worried about the 50ns delay time but the variation of this number between parts (variation needs to be much less than 30ns).

There doesn't appear to be a drop-in from the newer Infineon parts.
Trying to use either the 2EDN7523 or 2EDN7524 and make use of the Enable pin to create an inv / non-inv part looks like it will require PCB changes, and the customer uses the TC4428A on multiple projects.

Would be good to hear if you know of any way to implement this without PCB changes.

Thanks,
Sharmalee

Gesture recognition SDK by radar sensor

Hi,

I want to use radar sensor to develop some application from gesture recognition result.

Does Infineon radar SDK have gesture recognition feature, that can recognize hand movement, such as click, waving...

Or any other company can provide such gesture recognition SDK?

Automotive Secure Gateway Schematic

My company bought this development board KIT_A2G_TC377_SEC_GTW and I can't find the schematic on MyICP, there are two other automotive gateways there. One with two TC39x and the other with a TFT.
I of course tried contacting the support emails provided in MyICP, support page, chat, phone and everyone keeps referring to eachother or to MyICP repository.

Did anyone here order the same board and had any problems getting the schematic ?

MCMCAN on TC397 application Kit

Let's describe is more general, so anybody else can work with:

CAN Demo configures 2 nodes (node#0 for TX node#1 for RX) and enables loopmode for both. Works fine so far.

To connect two TC Boards you can connect their X202 Pin 3&4.
For sure, loopmode has to be deactivated and pin configuration is needed. Only Port/Pin are relevant, I guess.

BUT: Please note, on TC Board only one node is physically connected to CAN tranceiver. As Jens mentioned, node#0 per default but you can change this.
Means, just changing the Demo to port/pin will wait for CAN receive at non-connected node #1.

Easiest way would be to configure node#0 as IfxCan_FrameType_transmitAndReceive (frame.type) instead.

Hall sensors for IMC101

I figured out the hall sensors, thanks! I have two questions left, maybe you know the answers:
1. Why does the motor not hold the load at all in the hall pll mode?
2. I wrote this question earlier. How to improve the speed of the motor's response to load? When controlled through the IMC101, the motor holds the load well, if it is increased smoothly, but easily decelerated by a fast load.
