question of XMC4800's flash protect

Hi:
i m using the XMC4800 to develop the EtherCAT slave, the chip is XMC4800-F144x1024. now i want to set a flash protection to protect the flash sector.
i have already found the funtion of :XMC_FLASH_ConfirmProtection and XMC_FLASH_InstallProtection.but i don't know how to use it.
someboby can teach me how to use this.
and i had burned a chip of XMC4800-F144x2048 yet.
