CCU8 should start other CCU8

Hello,

I want that a CCU8 with 1 kHz trigger the start of a 2nd CCU8 with 10kHz w/o CPU intervention. I created 2 CCU8. The one called sample start at init.
The other should start at the end of a cycle. Hardware connections are done. Unfortunatly this doesn't work. See att. project.

Dave 4.2.4 with XMC4500 Relax Kit.

Any idea how to manage this?
