Problem running TLE9879 EvalKit sample program (BLDC_BEMF)

Hello,
I have just received the TLE9879 EvalKit v1.3, and I am having a problem running the BLDC_BEMF sample program. I have followed all the instruction for installing the toolchain to
develop using the Keil IDE, and I have successfully run the BLDC_Sensorless_FOC sample program. However, when I try to the run the BLDC_BEMF program, the motor tires to startup
but immediately fails. Here is a scope shot of one of the phase signals.

When I step through the debug code, I see that the program is stuck in a while loop checking on the MON_Sts() register.

Any help solving this problem would be greatly appreciated.
